Why does my Kurzick faction keep dropping? - Guild Wars Forums

I don't know if it supposed to be that way, but everyday my guild faction drops. Why is it happening?

Guilds lose 10% of their accumulated Faction every day. It's to keep people AB'ing. Otherwise lots of the larger guilds would have tens of millions worth of faction....

Just tens of millions? I think the sins alliance would be closing in on a billion faction by now if the faction didn't depreciate.

Yep, if guilds didn't have the 10% daily decrease the bigger guilds that AB and FFF more would have hundreds of millions. It's to keep the possibility for other guilds to rise in. Think: If a guild had never lost any faction whatsoever, it could have nearly 1 Billion faction. This would stop any (just about) other guild from ever rising to the top. Only the truly dedicated ones deserve the privelege of owning a town.
